SPHS ML students & Korean cooking

Saint Peter High School’s Multilingual Learners (ML) in Tom Bollum’s class recently had the chance to experience Korean cooking during a recent session in Mr. Chantarak’s classroom, which has a kitchen unit in it.

“Our students watch a lot of Korean dramas on Netflix, and mentioned wanting to try to cook some Korean food, which I know how to make,” Bollum said. “So today (Friday) we decided to do just that!”

The students with Mr. Bollum’s help created Korean pancakes, which they topped with rice, and salmon flakes, and wrapped with seasoned seaweed, and it was a big hit with both students and teacher alike!

Above and below are some photo highlights of the Korean cooking experience.
