Congratulations to the Saint Peter High School Marching Band which placed first out of seven bands overall in Class C at the Minnesota State Fair last week
“I’m very proud with how the SPHS Marching Saints did this summer, and I believe it’s been seven or eight years since we’ve had that honor,” SPHS Marching Band Director Dave Haugh said. “There are always a lot of great high school marching bands that take part in the Minnesota State Fair parades each year, so it is quite an honor for our band members to earn this award.”
The Saints scored a 71.8 to grab top honors in Class C while second place went to Chequamegon HS (Park Falls, WI) with a score of 70.8, while La Crescent-Hokah HS was third at 68.4
