The Minnesota River Strike Force adapted bowling team kicked off its 2024 season in early March and now have a few matches under its belt this season! The Strike Force is a cooperative program between Saint Peter High School and Le Sueur-Henderson High School.

Head coach Kris Voeltz and assistant coach Keith Bense and their crew kicked off the competitive portion of their schedule in late March and early April with matches against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial, Spring Lake Park and Austin at the Wow! Zone in Mankato. The Strike Force has two more meets before they compete in the State Qualifier Tournament at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 2 also at the Wow Zone.
“The season is off to a great start, the kids are having a blast, and their scores are improving each week,” Coach Voeltz said. “We look forward to hopefully sending more kids to state this season! We are so thankful for having a great facility like the Wow Zone available to us each week during the season. Nancy McVenes and her staff at the Wow Zone have been so wonderful to work with and we really enjoy visiting there each week for our matches.”
